Dato' Lee Chong Wei was born on born 21 October 1982 in Bagan Serai, Perak is a Malaysia Chinese professional badminton player. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 199 consecutive weeks from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012.
   He got his early education at Jit Sin Primary School (B) before continue his study at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sungai Way. Datuk Lee Chong Wei  started playing badminton at the age of eleven years old, when his father always play this sport and bring him to the badminton court. After attract the attention of a local coach, the coach ask his father permission to make a Chong Wei as his protégé. After he got the permission, he started to train Lee Chong Wei after the school time
Lee Chong Wei  then met with Misbun Sidek and he joined the national team at 17 years old. During his early career in the national team, he became a champion for two championship which are the Malaysia Open and China Taipe Open. He also participated in 2004 olympics games in Athens. In that events, he defeated Eng Wei from Hong King in the first match before he was defeated by Cheng Hong in the second match.He is the third Malaysian player after Rashid Sidek and Roslin Hashim to achieve such a ranking, and is the only Malaysian shuttler to hold the number one ranking for more than a year.
   Lee is a silver medalist in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games , making him the sixth Malaysian to win an Olympic medal and the first Malaysian to reach the finals in the men's singles event, ending Malaysia's Olympic medal drought since the 1996 games. This achievement also earned him the title Dato', and a description by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak as a national hero. He repeated the achievement four years later in London, thus making him the most successful Malaysian Olympian in history.
   He is the main player  for single match in badminton events, Datuk .Chong Wei, a young man that has been widely known with his friendly attitude had already defeated many great players including the world badminton champion, Lin Dan, from China.
   In 2005, he want in the Malaysia Open and the Denmark Open. He also want bronze medal in his first world champion ship after defeated by Taufik Hidayat. Lee Chong Wei started the year 2008 with success by won the forth championship in Malaysia Open followed by Singapore Open, Korea Open, All England Open, Switzerland Open, Asia Badminton Championship, and also the Thomas Cup in Jakarta Indonesia where he bring  the national team to the half-final after he defeated Lin Dan to ensure Malaysia lead 1-0 when he versus the China’s number one player. Lee Chong wei also participated in the 2008 olympics games in Beijing.
   In October 2010, Lee Chong Wei helps national team defeated India to defend the gold medal in the mix team events. In 2010, Comanwelth Sports then he manage to defend his gold medal againt in the single event. A month after, he want the silver medal in Asia games. Althought, he defeated the world number one player, Chen Jin, in the half-final match. Lee Chong Wei once againt felt became a looser in his enemy’s hand, Lin Dan, in final match. In the final year, Lee Chong Wei won Hong Kong open for the second time.

   Dato Nicol Ann David Born on 1983, is a Malaysian squash player, she was born in Penang. She is currently ranked world number 1 in women's squash and is the first Asian woman to achieve this.
   David is the first squash player to have won the World Junior title twice, in 1999 and 2002 under the tutelage of Richard Glanfield. She remained the only female squash player to have achieve this, until Raneen El Weleily emulated David's feat by winning her second Junior Championship in 2008, Dvid won ten tour titles an was unbeated.
   David completed her most successful year to date, retaining her Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Open title for the third successive year in November to bring her 2008 WISPA World Tour total to ten, extending her unbeated Tour record since October 2007 to 53 matches. David celebrated her second full calender year as world number one in December Women's Squash Rankings this bringingg her at the top of women's squash to 30 Straight matches.

Siti Nurhaliza

  Datin Sri Siti Nurhaliza binti Tarudin was born in 11 January 1979 in Berek Polis Kg. Awah, Kuala Lipis where she is the fourth child in a family of eight siblings to Tarudin Ismail, a police officer and Siti Salmah Bachik, a housewife. She was a Malaysian singer, songwriter, record producer, television presenter and businesswoman. She comes from a musically inclined family; her brother, Saiful Bahri Tarudin, and her sisters Siti Norsaida and Siti Saerah are also singers. Her grandfather was a famous violinist, and her mother was a local traditional singer.

  During her childhood, she was involved in various school activities, including sports and co-curricular activities. She attended her pre-school at the Tabika Perkep, Balai Polis Kampung Awah, Termeloh where she first showcased her early singing talent at the age of six when she sang "Sirih Pinang", a Malay traditional song, at her kindergarten's certificate-receiving event. She later attended primary school at Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Clifford and followed up her secondary education at Sekolah Menengah Clifford, Kuala Lipis, Pahang. In 1991, when she was 12 years old, she won one of her earliest singing competitions, with the song "Bahtera Merdeka" at the Merdeka Day Singing Contest, a local patriotic song competition. She has became famous.

  In 1999, she had won Gold Award in Shanghai Asia Music Festival, held in Shanghai. Also, in the same year, she had won two awards from ' South Pacific International Song and Singing Competition 1999 ' held in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. She has became more famous.To date, she has garnered more than 200 local awards as well as international awards. Beside, in her career she has recorded and sung in multiple languages, including Bahasa Malaysia, Basa Jawa, English, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi and Japanese.

  Siti Nurhaliza has won an unprecedented number of music awards in Malaysia and its environs. She has many talents. Beside she is a singer , she is also a songwriter, television presenter, businesswoman and record producer. She is the proud of Malaysia. We should be proud of her.

Rashid Sidek

Rashid Sidek was a former badminton player from Malaysia. Abdul Rashid bin Mohd Sidek was born on 8 of July in Banting, Selangor. He is the second youngest to the six Sidek brothers. Rashid and his brothers gain exposure to badminton by their father, Haji Mohd Sidek. Growing up with a support system that revolve around badminton, Rashid became one of the most uplifting sportsman. Under the guidance of his father, Rashid and his other siblings were trained to be champions. Rashid Sidek attended secondary school at Victoria Institution.

Rashid became the youngest player to win the National Junior Badminton Championship on 1980 at the age of 12. his name become great references after winning the National Championship B-18s by beating Kwang Yoke Meng on 1984. In 1985, he won the Asian Youth Championship beating Allan Budi Kusuma of Indonesia. After that dazzling victory, he continued the run by winning Sealngor Open and Sarawak Open defeating great players including his brother, Misbun Sidek and Foo Kok Keong.

After the completion of his Sijil Penilaian Menegah (SPM) exam, he joined the 1988/90 squad set to regained the Thomas Cup. Rashid replied to the trust, by showing impressive run but Malyasia lost the finals to China 1-4.

He won the Malaysia Open title three years consecutively during the year 1990, 1991 and 1992. He was known many by "jaguh kampung" - whatever it is never enough to challenge his credibility as a lead world class player. In the Thomas Cup finals in 1992, he beat Ardy Wiranata to give Malyasia the first point in the route won a dramatic 3-2 won over rivals with Indonesia, the first championship in 25 years and the last to his days.

Accomplishments came as a tumbling for three years. However. Rashid bounce back in 1996, putting him in top 3 best players in the world by winning a Asian Cup and German Open, then advancing to the final of the All England before lose to Paul-Erik Hoyer Larsen from Denmark. He won the bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics after beating Indonesia's 1995 World Champion, Heryanto Arbi, 5-15, 15-11, 15-6 and overthrew the first seeded players, Joko Suprianto of Indonesia in route to semi-finals, before bowing out to China, Dong Jiong.

Moreover, in the year 1997, Rashid was named as the number one badminton player by International Badminton Federation (IBF). He began to make rooms for players like Wong Choong Hann, Yong Hock Kin and Roslin Hashim to rised up. Rashid Sidek retired from being a badminton player in 2000.

Upon his retirement, Rashid was appointed as national coach by the Badminton Association of Malaysia and became instrumental to the success of the new generation of badminton players for instance Daren Liew, Lee Chong Wei and Chong Wei Feng. Apart from that he was a coach in Nusa Mahsuri, a badminton club 1992 to 2002. Currently he acts as the advisor for the club which he has set up with his brother, Jalani Sidek.

Dato' Mokhtar Dahari (Supermokh)

Dato' Mokhtar Dahari was a Malaysian football player from Setapak, Selangor. Born on 13 November 1953 in Setapak, Selangor. Dato' Mokhtar Dahari was the first child to Aminah binti Sharikan and Dahari Abeng. Dahari Abeng was a lorry driver and did not earn very much. Mokhtar moved with his family to Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur at the age of 11. He attended secondary school at Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur. Mokhtar showed interest in playing football at a very young age. He played for his school and later for his home state, Selangor FA.

He was one of the best players in Asia in the 70's and is known as the best Malyasian fotballer during that time, a legend in Malaysian football. During the 1970s, Mokhtar played for Malaysia and Malaysia became a powerful team and defeated Asian giants such as South Korea and Japan.

He was nicknamed Supermokh because of his playing skills, his strength and his ability to score many incredible goals throughout his career. Although not recognised internationally, Mokhtar scored 175 goals for Selangor, 20 goals in 13 appearances for Kwong Yik Bank.

Mokhtar first played for Selangor FA in the Burnley Youth Cup, which they won. He became the top scorer in his first season playing for Selangor. He helped Selangor win many tournaments mainly the Malaysia Cup. Later he was selected to play for the national team of Malaysia. He was only 19 years old when he first played for the Malaysia Natinal Football Team in an international game.

Mokhtar helped Selangor FA win the Malaysia Cup 10 times and scored 177 goals altogether. He was the best striker in Malaysia. His first game for Malaysia National Football Team was against Sri Lanka National Football Team in 1972.

He helped Malaysia win the 1974 Asian games bronze medals and successive SEA games gold medals in 1977 and 1979. He even scored double winning goals for 2-0 Malaysia League XI against Arsenal FC in a friendly game in 1975 that led to rumors of the English top clubs' interest in him. After the game, he had an offer from European giant, Real Madrid FC but declined to join because his patriotism to Malaysia and Selangor FA. Known for his speed and accuracy, Mokhtar was named the best Asian striker by the World Star soccer magazine when he was 23 years old.

Mokhtar was famous for his speed. Roars of  "Supermokh" from the crowds were common. Many of the younger generation idolised him. Mokhtar once scored a goal from the half wat line beaten Joe Corrigan through an incredible shot in a 1-1 draw against England B in 1978, dribbling past half of the opposing team coached by Bobby Robson. Gordon Hill praised Mokhtar as Hero Dahari in Shoot! magazine in his column after the England B tour in 1978.

Alex Yoong Biodata Lai Kai Thian

Alexander Charles Yoong Loong was borned on  20 July 1976, is a Malaysian Chinese professional racing driver of European and Han Chinese parentage.

Yoong began his career in saloon cars before moving into the Proton one-make series. He later raced in single-seater cars where he won the Malaysian Championship in 1995. He moved into Formula Renault in 1996 with help from sponsors but finished outside the top-10. Yoong consulted his father who believed his son would succeed in lower categories. Yoong decided to drive in Formula Three but dropped out in 1999 after withdrawal from his sponsors. He subsequently went into Formula 3000and managed to improve despite a horrific crash at Spa-Franchomps during the season. Yoong also raced in Formula Nipponwhere he achieved no success.

Yoong became the first Malaysian to race in Formula One with Minardi at the 2001 Italian Grand Prix and left the sport in 2002. Yoong had a less successful career in CART World Series but had improved in the Porsche Carrera Cup with a less successful foray into V8 Supercars. Yoong raced in A1 Grand Prix series between 2005 and 2008 and scored three victories. In between this, Yoong raced in the Le Mans 24 Hours. Yoong worked for Lotus Racing as head of driver development and is also a commentator for ESPN Star Sports. Yoong married Arriana Teoh, who was Miss World 1997 Malaysia in 2002 and has a son, Alister, born in 2003.

Dato’ Surdiman Bin Haji Arshad

Dato’ Sudirman Bin Haji Arshad was born on 25^th May 1954 in Temerloh, Pahang as the youngest of seven children born to Hj Arshad Hassan and Ramlah Dahlan (the first stateswoman in Pahang during 1950s).

Dato’ Sudirman was completed his secondary education in Sultan Abu Bakar School (SABS), Kuantan, after turning down a scholarship to further his studies in medicine, besides, he also studied law and received his degree  from the University Of Malay. He married Kamariah Jamaluddin in 1981, but divorced three years later.

Dato’ Sudirman, was a famous Malaysian singer and songwriter. He had started his career after winning the Bintang RTM on 11 August 1976. He is also the title holder of "Asia's No. 1 Performer" on 19 March 1989 as he won the '‘Asian Popular Music Awards'’ competition in Royal Albert Hall in London. He was known as the "Singing Lawyer", the "People's Singer", the "Patriot Singer" and the "Elvis Presley of Malaysia". He was also a composer, lawyer, writer (memoir and children books), cartoonist, entrepreneur and actor.

On 17 July 1991, Sudirman was admitted to Pusat Perubatan Tawakkal Kuala Lumpur (ICU) for 4 days. He died at 4 a.m. on 22 February 1992 at the age of 37 after suffering from pneumonia for 7 months. Thousands in Asia took part in his funeral procession. His remains were sent to his hometown and laid to rest at Chengal Muslim Cemetery, Temerloh, Pahang near the graves of his parents.

It was too bad for Malaysia to lose a good singer likes him who was possessing of a clear piercing tenor with a surprising breadth of range and dynamic control, with this, it made his voice is easily to be recognized.

Marina Mahathir

Marina binti Mahathir was born in 11 May 1957. She is a Malaysian socio-political activist and writer. She is the daughter and eldest child of the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir Mohammad and Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali. 

            Marina was born in Alor Setar, Kedah.  Her early education from kindergarten to Form 3 was at St. Nicholas’ Convent, Alor Setar and subsequently she did her Form 4 and Form 5 at Tunku Kurshiah College in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan before proceeding to study for her A-Levels in the United Kingdom. She also studied briefly at her father's alma mater, Sultan Abdul Hamid College, Alor Setar while waiting to go to the UK. She obtained her degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK (1979).

            Marina is a writer, women’s rights and HIV/AIDS activist and TV producer. She was President of the Malaysian AIDS Council for 12 years from 1993-2005. She has also served on many regional and international HIV/AIDS bodies including the AIDS Society of Asia and the Pacific (ASAP), UNAIDS and the Asia Pacific Leadership Forum on HIV and Development (APLF). Among her achievements are chairing the 5th International Conference on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific in 1999 which directly led to the availability of free first-line antiretroviral treatments to all Malaysians living with HIV.

            Marina has authored three books, In Liberal Doses (1997), 50 Days: Rantings by MM (2009), and Telling It Straight (2012). In 2010, Marina was named the UN Person of the Year by the United Nations in Malaysia and in 2011 was one of only two Malaysians named by WomenDeliver.org to their list of the 100 Most Inspiring Persons Working for Women and Girls.

            Marina currently sits on the Board of Sisters in Islam, an advocacy group that works for justice and equality for Muslim women; is on the International Advisory Group of Musawah, the global movement for justice and equality in the Muslim family; and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Additionally she sits on the boards of the Maybank Foundation, the Dewan Philharmonic Petronas and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

            In 1997, she was conferred the Datuk Paduka Mahkota Selangor award by the Sultan of Selangor, which carries the title ‘Datin Paduka’.To be a Malaysian, we should be proud of her.
